A tremendously talented singer will be missed. While we all were so hopeful for her full recovery, it was not to be. Whitney Houston was one of kind -- having a voice that transcended the music scale.
Let us all absorb her passing as a reminder for us all to BE THE BEST THAT WE CAN BE -- TO GIVE ALL YOU CAN -- AND TO SHARE WHAT YOU HAVE.
Whitney's story is typical of so many today who are finding themselves in bondage to the vices of the flesh. Be it drugs, be it sex, be it materialism -- these are the chasms of vices which snuff our lives.
If anyone is struggling with something like this -- whether it's a drug addiction - perhaps you are addicted to relationship - even being addicted to food - remember Jesus is offering you an invitation to "Come unto him -- if you are burdened and heavy laden and he will give you rest." Find that rest and remember, Jesus does love you -- as we hear Whitney sing here:
